Venice returns to the Netherlands this November with a full band,
supporting their first studio album in six years, "What Summer
Brings." The concerts will mix brand new songs with fan favorites, all
tinged with their trademark Venice vocals, harmonies and musicianship.
And as always, every show will be followed by a Venice meet-and-greet.
Kipp and Pat Lennon and Michael and Mark Lennon, two sets of brothers
who are cousins, have been making music together for over half their
lives. 2013 has been a busy year for this musical family. In addition
to writing and recording their new album, Venice contributed
recordings to tribute CDs honoring both CSNY and Jackson Browne (with
whom they also co-headlined a benefit concert back in May). They'll
spend two months this Summer touring Europe with legendary Pink Floyd
frontman Roger Waters, and his award-winning concert presentation of
"Pink Floyd's The Wall." Venice has brought their California harmonies
to the background vocals on this record-breaking world tour for three
years running, to great acclaim.
But what excites the Lennons most right now is their return to the
Netherlands, where they have a Gold Record, an Edison Award and a very
loyal following. The band truly considers this country to be their
"home away from home."
Prepare for a great night of music, in the spirit of artists like The
Beach Boys, John Mayer, The Eagles, Jackson Browne, Fleetwood Mac,
CSNY and Steely Dan. Come on down and learn "What Summer Brings" -- in
November!
