Folks,
Before you read Matt's Venice update (below).....If you're in California and you want to go to the Venice/Logs Halloween show, I just added a few VIP FLOOR and VIP BALCONY TICKETS TO THE VENICE STORE!
HURRY, BEFORE THEY'RE GONE!
Cheers!
Michael

Hey everyone, Matt Levitz here, friendly neighborhood webmaster.
Thought I'd give everyone a quick update on the band's activities.

Happily, Venice has gone into songwriting mode. Last week, the band
spent a few days together at Hideaway Hill (their family house in
Vista, CA) working on some new songs, and they even debuted one of
them at the Acoustic Music San Diego concerts that weekend. The
songwriting continues this week, even as they prepare for this
Saturday's big Halloween bash. In fact, Michael revealed to me that
they just finished another song yesterday!

Here's what the next few months are going to look like:

October 29 - Halloween Show at the Lennon Lounge

November - Concert in Springfield, IL, followed by a short acoustic
tour in the Netherlands

December - Christmas shows in Solana Beach, Santa Monica and Santa
Barbara

January - Hopefully they'll be able to schedule one last going away
concert before Kipp, Mark and Pat leave town again in mid-January to
rejoin Roger Waters on "The Wall." We can't say exactly how long this
jaunt is going to last, but there are "Wall" dates currently scheduled
through early April, and Waters has confirmed that a second American
tour will begin shortly thereafter and extend into the Summer. So
we're probably not going to see a lot of Venice activity in the first
half of 2012.
As always, tour dates are posted at www.venicecentral.com

.

General admission tickets are still available for Saturday's big
Halloween show. Half of the concert will be Venice, and half will be
cover tunes with the Pine Mountain Logs, all high energy and rocking,
blowing the roof off the place. I hope to see many of you there.
Remember to wear a costume!

Matt
